Hesitation to vaccination for COVID-19 among the Brazilian adult population

Background: This study assessed the perceptions and attitudes of Brazilian adult population about COVID-19 vaccines, seeking to identify which factors are associated with vaccine hesitancy lack trust in vaccines support individual or group strategies for welcoming guidance.
 Methods: is a national survey using self-report web instrument representative sample (N=1700). The included sociodemographic quality life (QoL) questions, general information on COVID-19, vaccine-specific questionnaire.
 Results: vast majority our expressed favorable opinions regarding vaccination, but there was also minor fraction (2.2%) respondents who hesitant vaccination. Most them were males within age range 30 59 years reported that their reasons hesitation mainly due uncertainty safety (57.9%) efficacy (36.8%) followed by concern development, is, issue timing adoption new development technology (28.9%). Further, while impact groups peers those hesitate vaccinate not clear, perception low risk contracting disease evident.
 Conclusions: There need develop targeted increase effective communication risks benefits vaccines. Uncertainty timing, techniques affect significantly acceptance.
